Summary
Now in its 25th year, The East Coulee SpringFest expects to bring up to 800 locals to see 40+ musical acts in 4 different venues during one weekend. The festival takes place May 3 & 4, 2019.
We're looking for up to 10 Sonicbids Artists to join the bill. We offer accommodation, a food voucher and a whole lot of fun.
The Opportunity
East Coulee SpringFest is a benefit fundraiser for the East Coulee School Museum. We are blessed to host over a hundred musicians who donate their craft to support our museum.
SpringFest has been described as a "Hidden Gem" by Peter North of CKUA. It is! Musicians have described SpringFest as a party for musicians. It is. We have a unique hippy feel and we are surrounded by the beautiful Drumheller Badlands.
The Band
- Open to acts from Alberta
- Performers of all ages welcome
- Original music only
- Open to solo artists, duos and trios for a small 100-cap event space
- Open to bands for a 250-cap event space
The Gig
- Indoor stages
- Acoustic performances from solo artists, duos and trios
- Plugged performances on the main stage for bands
- 45-minute sets
- Time slots during the afternoon and at night
- Sound and lights provided
- All proceeds from ticket sales benefit the non-profit museum
- One meal is provided on the day of show
- One night stay may be provided for bands traveling great distances
- May sell merch on site and keep 100% of proceeds
- Possible exposure on Alberta's CKUA FM Radio station
