Hello Sonicbids artists, East X Northeast International Film & Music Festival is coming back to Newburgh NY taking place Oct 9-17, 2020.  ExNE fest is a five-day fest that takes place throughout the historic city of Newburgh NY, and showcases a variety of musical styles, and acts from around the globe. We're currently looking for Sonicbids artists of all genres to apply and be apart of one of the best festivals in the east coast. 

The Opportunity

EXNE is dedicated to making this festival an important networking destination full of opportunities for artists. Professionals, amateurs, and local music and film enthusiasts will be able to meet, network and collaborate. Our social festival will host a film competition along with music from local, national and international acts, art, food, and a green technologies conference. 

The Band

  • ExNE is looking for bands and solo artists of EVERY genre.
  • Artists must be at a professional level 
  • Local, regional and nationally touring artists are welcome to apply
  • Bands must be willing to heavily promote the festival if chosen to play
  • All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, 
  • Acts must have a solid online presence

The Gig

  • Each set is typically 45 minutes - 1hour 
  • EXNE takes place in Newburgh NY
  • Basic backline available 
  • PA available
    • Capacity of festival  1500 - 3000+
      • Payment-Determined at time of booking
      • Bands are able to sell merch on-site
