Fun-filled days of multicultural music, shopping, foods, entertainment, family memories and more! Jamaica Avenue's commercial strip from Parsons Blvd. to 170th Streets will come alive once again. We are looking for the Sonicbids artist interested in spoken word, jazz, R&B, and even dance!
The Opportunity
The Jamaica Arts & Music Summer Festival is a two day celebration that highlights the multicultural fabric of Queens. This is the perfect opportunity to showcase you artistic side while also having the chance to bring out your current fans and grow your local fanbase in the process. Not to mention connecting with fellow artists and musicians from the area!
The Band
- We are looking for artists in the realm of Jazz, R&B, Funk, Spoken Word, Dance, you name it!
- Bands must be actively playing shows
- Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
- All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
- Acts must have a solid online presence
The Gig
- July 31st- August 1st 2020
- PA provided, bands may need to bring additional equipment
- Bands are able to sell merch on-site
Compensation
- Compensation Amount: Determined at time of booking
