FEST: Lincoln Calling (NE)

Lincoln Calling is an annual, non-profit music festival that transforms the streets of downtown Lincoln, Nebraska into a weeklong celebratory explosion of the arts, culture, and the collaborative spirit tantamount to our city’s ever-ramping vitality. 

We highlight some of the country’s and state’s most exciting emerging artists as we continue to grow bigger and better. We're looking for emerging Sonicbids artists to join the lineup.

Lincoln Calling seeks to celebrate creativity through artistic expression, community engagement, and environmental leadership.

In 2018, Lincoln Calling – which has thrived on featuring bands just before they break, while showcasing a diversity of genres, artists, and artistic disciplines since its inception in 2004 – drew more than 8,500 music lovers to downtown Lincoln, including patrons from 75 cites, 25 states, and 3 countries. 

Over the past 5 years, Lincoln Calling has joined forces with long-running community events including Make Lincoln, YP Week and Startup Week bringing to the festival a 2-day Night Market/beer fest, The Lincoln Arts Festival, wellness activities, professional development workshops, and an acute focus on festival sustainability practices.

• Open to all genres: Hip Hop, Rock, Rock, Indie, Alternative, Pop, Blues, R&B
• Bands must be actively playing shows or have a very recent show history and have a tight set
• Acts must have a solid online presence and be able to heavily promote to their fans if selected to play

• May 3rd & 4th, 2024
• Bands can sell merch onsite and keep proceeds 

• PA provided, bands will need to bring their own equipment
