Summary

Are you interested in playing at a music festival this year? Lowcountry Music and Arts Festival is looking for local artists (soloists and bands), who are local to the states of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia to come and play at our festival.

The Lowcountry Music & Arts Festival is a family-friendly event with on-site camping from Thursday to Sunday Night. There will be tons of food, arts, crafts, and many other vendors to fill the experience. The opportunities for exposure and adventure will be limitless!

We look forward to hearing everyone's great music, and can't wait to see some of you at our First Annual Weekend Music Festival in 2021!

The Opportunity

Lowcountry Music and Arts Festival (LMAF) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to expand the music, arts and education opportunities to the Charleston, SC and other Lowcountry areas. We do so by hosting music and art events that showcase local and regional artists and their talents. Our primary events are a Craft Beer festival in late June, and an Annual Music Festival over Labor Day Weekend.

Our Festival will be Labor Day weekend (September 2-5, 2021), and will be on a property within 50 miles of Charleston, SC (Exact location TBD). There will be 5 stage opportunities to play at (2 Main stages, 2 Smaller stages, and a Campground stage.). And music will be playing everyday between 10AM and 2AM. We are anticipating an expected audience of over 5000 people next year!

The Band

  • We are looking for a variety of genre's but our primaries are: Rock, Americana, Reggae, Funk, Jazz, and Bluegrass. That being said, if you don't fit into those categories, we hope you'll still apply! We are always looking for great talent!
  • Bands must have live stage experience 
  • Bands must have a solid online presence 
  • Bands must be comfortable performing in front of large and small audiences 
  • Bands must be able to promote shows on their personal social media platforms 

The Gig

  • If you are accepted as an artist, our team will reach out and begin discussing the negotiation process. Once an agreement is reached, a formal, written agreement will be sent for review and signatures.
  • Compensation will be determined based on each act, and may be comprised of the following:
  • Exposure
  • Tickets
  • Monetary
