MAKE MUSIC SEATTLE: Part of MAKE MUSIC DAY is a worldwide holiday held every Summer Solstice June 21. This All ages free event has taken place for 35+ years in 120 countries/1000 cities.
The Opportunity
This day-long event takes place at Westlake Park and at the Waterfront HotSpot stage in the heart of Seattle, WA. Make Music Seattle is a free one-day festival & participatory for everyone of all ages & genres. With stages at multiple venues & public spaces, this is a perfect platform for local and regional acts to build a wider fanbase and build relationships with local venues and other musicians.
The Band
- This is an opportunity to be a part of the Seattle music community and play in front of a new audience
- We're looking for ALL GENRES and ALL AGES
- Music must be family friendly
- Depending on what stage we assign each acts, we're looking for everything from Singer-Songwriter to big bands and everything in between
- We encourage artists to have a set of originals and a couple of covers
- All acts must be willing to heavily promote the show and bring an audience
- All acts must be willing to share and repost your gig on social media, websites, and word of mouth
- All acts applying must submit finished audio and live footage of past performances
The Gig
- Make Music Day Seattle will be in downtown Seattle
- The event is 12 pm to 8 pm
- Certain stages will be streamed live
- Depending on the stage some venues will provide PA's and backline
- Acts playing pop up stages may be required to provide backline
- All acts get all access badges
- Capacity 10,000+
Compensation
- Compensation Amount: Determined at time of booking
