FEST: Music on Main (ON)

Hello Canadian Sonicbids artists, Music on Main is an 11-week long street festival held in Markham, ON. Canada. The event takes place every Friday from Friday June 21st until Friday August 30th. We're currently looking for acts that have a big repertoire of music and who can play a show consisting of multiple sets. If you're looking to get involved in an amazing music series that's family-friendly and welcomes all genre's this is the gig for you.

Music on Main is a family event held every Friday from June 21st until Friday, August 30th in the heart of Markham, ON. Equipped with 3 stages throughout downtown, Markham comes alive every Friday throughout the summer. We're looking for up to 4 Sonicbids bands to play their ongoing summer music series and be apart of our growing music and arts community.

• This is an amazing opportunity for local artists. If you have an amazing sound and looking to gain a wider audience, this is the gig for you! 
• We're looking for bands of all genres that play original music. We love Rock, Jazz, Swing, Folk, Acoustic, Country, and Alternative,  but we're open to all genres if it's good music
  

• Bands must be actively playing shows 

• Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play

• Bands are able to sell merch on-site

• All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

• Acts must have a solid online presence 

• Family Friendly atmosphere
  

• Looking for acts that can keep it clean and entertain

Performers will be expected to perform 3 sets for their respective performance.
