FEST: New Mexico Jazz Festival (NM)

The New Mexico Jazz Festival is a collaborative project of the Outpost Performance Space, and the Lensic Performing Arts Center in Santa Fe. The two-week Festival takes place each year in the last two weeks of July. The New Mexico Jazz Festival features local, regional as well as world-renowned artists and jazz masters playing throughout world-class music venues throughout Albuquerque & Santa Fe. If you're an exceptional Jazz act that is looking to showcase your jazzy chops, this is the gig for you. We're currently excepting applications from Sonicbids artists to join  The New Mexico Jazz Festival line up for 2019.

The New Mexico Jazz Festival believes in the existence of a universal world of Jazz and how important it is for the Jazz art form to continue to move forward into the next generation. We're dedicated to showcasing the masters of Jazz, but also give up and coming Jazz acts a platform to express themselves as well as learn from the greats. This is an amazing opportunity to join a vibrant Jazz festival that has been celebrating the Jazz culture for over 20 years. This is your chance to be a part of an intense program of concerts, performances, presentations, talks, meet and greets and of course connecting with new fans. If you're a Sonicbid artist have a great sound and looking to expand your fanbase in New Mexico, this is the festival for you!

We're looking for Jazz acts only, however, we're open to booking Jaz acts that fuse Soul, Blues, R&B, Hip-Hop, Acoustic, Funk, Folk, Latin and Afro sounds. We're Looking for local, regional, regional and international acts.

Acts must promote the festival

Acts must have a solid online presence 

Acts can sell their merch on-site

Past performers include: Jack DeJohnette (with Ravi Coltrane & Matthew Garrison); Tootie Heath, Ethan Iverson, Ben Street Trio, Claudia Villela; Cedric Watson & Bijou Creole.

The New Mexico Jazz Festival takes place at various venues throughout Sante Fe and Albuquerque in the last two weeks of July 2019.
