FEST: North Carolina Songwriters Festival (NC)

The North Carolina Songwriter’s Festival is coming to Fayetteville on May 21-23, 2020. The Festival will be a destination event for Fayetteville / Cumberland County and will additionally provide a platform for singer/songwriters in the local area to network with nationally-known songwriters and artists. 

We're looking for Sonicbids artists to join the lineup! 

The Festival will feature simultaneous performances at various venues on and around Hay Street in downtown Fayetteville. The Thursday + Friday + Saturday event is timed to coincide with the Memorial Day holiday.

BMI, the Performing Rights Organization for songwriters and composers, has already agreed to sponsor this festival and will be curating the nationally-known songwriters who will be invited to attend. Based on similar festivals that are already held in other areas (Key West Songwriter’s Festival, for example), we expect to generate attendance of 10,000+ CaCarolina Songwriter’s Festival. This is a killer opportunity to get in front of music fans, industry professionals and fellow musicians. 

• Looking for a wide range of genres including Country, Folk, Americana, Bluegrass, Rock, Alt Rock, Alt Country, and Indie Music
• Open to Solo Artists and Full Bands
• Artists must be actively playing shows/have a history of playing shows 
• Artists must have an online presence and be willing to promote the event if selected 
• Be sure your EPK is up to date & has video, photo, song links, etc. 

• May 21-23, 2020 
• PA system and some backline provided, artists may need to bring some equipment (TBD upon booking)
• Artists can sell merch onsite and keep proceeds
