FEST: The Lights Festival (DC/PA)

The Light Fest is a celebration that brings over 5 thousand people consisting of families, friends, and foodies together from around the world, and pairs them with live music, dancing, and an eruption of Sky Lanterns. Yes that's right Sky Lanterns! At the perfect moment, everyone ignites their personalized sky lanterns with Tiki torches and lets them take flight. It creates a surreal ambiance, where time slows down as your single flame rises with thousands of others. 

This is a Unique opportunity for Sonicbids artists to create the soundtrack and rock out at the family-friendly The Lights Festival

Our mission at The Lights Fest is to create a transformative experience for families and friends, enabling them to share their light with others. This is an amazing opportunity for local bands to play family-friendly music and keep everybody dancing. If you have an uplifting sound that reflects the summer vibe, this is the gig for you!

We're looking for modern acoustic type vibes. We're looking for relevant music with great vocals. We're NOT interested in rock bands or heavier sounds. This is a very emotional and spiritual type event. Ideally we're looking for stripped down guitar, piano-vocal vibes.

We're looking for bands from the DC/PA area

Bands must be actively playing shows 

Bands are able to sell merch on-site

All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

Bands must be able to play upbeat family-friendly covers

We're expecting 5k people to attend this year.

We're looking for a couple of acts to play 45 minute sets.

Stage/PA/Backline provided, Musicians just need to bring their instruments

The Light Fest pays through PayPal. Bands can choose to be paid half before and then the rest after the set.

Payment to be discussed upon booking
