Summary

TIMA is looking for new music and talent for the TIMA Awards Gala on Friday, October 19, 2018 in Toronto, ON at Revival, Canadian Music Week 2018 showcase on May 10 at Rivoli, and a showcase in Los Angeles, California. 

We're waiving your application fee if you're an Ontario based band!  Free application is to be considered for the TIMA Awards only, no live performance or showcases. Please click here to apply for free. 

The Opportunity

TIMA is a homegrown annual award ceremony and series of showcases with a mandate to provide independent musicians with a platform to attain the knowledge and tools for success.  Now on its 14th season, has become the platform for independent musicians to learn, network, and be discovered.

Previous winners and performers include:

KAI, Allan Rayman, The Beaches, Sumo Cyco, Rich Kidd, The Elwins, JD ERA, The Good Lovelies and many more.


The Band

  • Independent acts only
  • Original music only
  • Artists from all countries accepted
  • All genres accepted
  • Travel and accommodations are the responsibility of the artist

The Gig

Details:

  • 20 minute set
  • Professional sound and sound engineer provided
  • Backline provided
Additional Compensation Details:
  • VIP/Media room badge for each member and manager of selected act
  • Guest list
  • One hour consult with Errant Entertainment, Music Management
  • Selected acts may sell merchandise and keep 100% of the revenue
