There are 70 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists at 35 Denton this year. All selected artists will receive food/drinks/hospitality and can sell merch on-site.

The Opportunity

Run entirely by veteran volunteers & entering its seventh year, 35 Denton features eclectic and diverse lineups of local, national and international artists, both established and up-and-coming, drawn heavily from the vibrant and diverse music scene of North Texas.

This year's festival will take place March 11 - 13, 2016, at various venues throughout Denton. Venue capacities range from 250-500 plus an outdoor stage area with a capacity of 5,000. Participating venues include Dan's Silverleaf, Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studios, Hailey's, and more. There are 15,000 total attendees expected at the fest.

The Band

  • 35 Denton is open to all varieties of music including, but not limited to, indie, rock, electronic, hip hop, soul, funk, r&b, jazz, country, blues
  • No cover bands
  • Booking team will evaluate all submissions and is comprised of individuals with vastly different interests and tastes in music.  The more information a band can provide us about themselves, the better.  Beyond audio recordings, submission of quality video of live performances is strongly encouraged if available

  • Sound equipment (mics, PA's, monitors) to be supplied
  • No backline provided
