Malibu Arts Festival

The Malibu Arts Festival, sponsored by the Malibu Chamber of Commerce has been an annual event in beautiful Malibu California for over 30 years. Over 8000 people, including a full compliment of local actors and producers, visit this event each year searching for the hottest new artists who exhibit at the event. Two years ago the festival added a performers stage where 8 bands perform each day. These 16 bands receive significant exposure to some of the music industries top movers and shakers and have an opportunity to perform at one of oldest and most respected fine arts shows in the country.

Celebrating its 38th year, the two-day weekend event will take place July 25-26, 10am-6pm, outside the Malibu Civic Center. Considered “one of the most beautiful outdoor art festivals in the nation,” the Malibu Arts Festival features award-winning painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelers and other unique artisans. The Arts Festival has expanded the venue with an entertainment stage where original musicians perform each day, a children’s workshop where kids work with artists to create their own art, and a new dining terrace featuring exciting menu items with incredible cuisine, and a ‘Wine Garden’ to stop for a ‘Taste of Malibu’ and music. Accepted genres include Acoustic, Classic Rock, Cover Bands, Rock, and Standards.
