Summary

Festival4Songs is an international talent search offering an annual prize of $1000 in 4 genres.

There are three heats to the competition, and 4 artists will be selected from each heat to advance to the final live competition in London in front of a panel of judges including Robin Gibb from the Bee Gees. Each song put through to the finals from the three will also receive a $150 prize. Judges include: Jay Frank of CMT, formally Yahoo Music, along with Robin Gibb, and more./n/nThe International Festival4Stars Songwriting Competition, which began in The UK in 2004, is an international talent search offering an annual prize of $1000 in 4 genres. There are three heats to the competition, and 4 artists will be selected from each heat to advance to the final live competition in London in front of a panel of judges including Robin Gibb from the Bee Gees.



In addition each song put through to the finals from the three legs of the competition, will also receive a $150 prize and a copy of the new best selling book by Jay Frank “Future Hit DNA”, which is receiving knock out reviews throughout the industry.



The competition is open to artists from all around the world, however all lyrics must be in English. The International Festival4Stars Songwriting Competition is accepting submissions in 4 categories. One winner will be selected from each of the following categories:



  • Pop and Rock

  • Singer/Songwriter

  • Country, Folk, Traditional

  • Wildcard (all other genre entries)

Entries will be judged by a panel of music industry professionals, including songwriters, record producers, publishers and managers from all over the world. The judges will give each song constructive written feedback in each of the following criteria: comerciality, originality, melody, composition, vocal presentation, and lyrics. Multiple entries are accepted, and submissions from any one songwriter can be entered each leg of the contest.



Sponsors of this Songwriting Contest include Peavey, Songs4U and Maximum Music. This is a great chance for any artist to receive a $1000 cash prize and automatic entry to Music Supervision sync opportunities which automatically happens with each winning song, through the heats and final stages, good luck and get writing.



Jay Frank of CMT formally Yahoo music joins their judging panel for this year's song comp, along with, Robin Gibb, John McGloughlin, Monte Malone (A&Rworldwide) and many other industry professionals.
