Financial Records Compilation CD and Roster Expansion Consideration (Spring 2009)

Financial Records was formed by Glenn Stewart of Clearwater, Florida ska/punk band, Victims of Circumstance, and Tim "Johnny Vegas" Burton of The legendary Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Since it's inception, Financial Records has been a true DIY label; booking tours, organizing local festivals, and even building their own studio to become a one stop shop for emerging artists and musicians.



They will be putting out the second compilation for the label, Professional Help Volume #2, and we are looking for bands to include. Each selected band will get free recording time in their state of the art studio. Financial Records will also be using this as a scouting procedure. Submitted bands will be reviewed for a possible record deal with Financial Records!



Crisis in Hollywood are a punk/pop band from Orlando, Florida. These guys caught the attention of label owner Glenn Stewart at a local show, and preceded to release their debut album, Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, on Financial Records. The album was recorded at the label's personal studio in Clearwater, Florida and has moved nearly 5,000 copies independently. Crisis was lucky enough to gain the interest of Anthony Raneri from pop/punk idols, Bayside. The label brought him in to produce the new album, Safe and Sound, due out May 12th 2009.



Victims of Circumstance are a ska/punk band from the Clearwater area. These guys released their first album in 2008, with Tim "Johnny Vegas" Burton of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones producing. These guys bring a rock solid combination of ska tunes, with catchy punk melodies. Victims also have a sophomore album coming out in the summer, produced by Steve Foote of ska heroes Big D and the Kids Table.
