Summary
Firefly Recording Studios presents their First Annual Battle of the Bands, taking place at the Paradise Lounge in Boston, MA on August 21, 2007.
Located near Inman Square in Cambridge, MA, Firefly Recording Studios is in the heart of Boston's creative core, attracting musicians from every facet of the New England music scene. Their mission is to help artists bring their artistic visions to life, and to do so with stellar sound and a great attitude.
5 bands will be chosen to compete at the Paradise Lounge, in which all door proceeds will be donated to LifeLovers, an AIDS/HIV awareness organization. Selected bands must submit all required materials by August 1st, and will then be invited to perform a 3 song set at the Paradise Lounge on the official Battle date.

They are accepting all genres/styles for the submission process. The event will be an 18+ event, including performers.
LifeLovers is an organization run by Franklin Obeng in Ghana. Obeng is a 23 year old Ghanian high school graduate who has dedicated his life to traveling around to small villages and educating schoolchildren about HIV and AIDS.
