The festival will feature at least 2 Sonicbids artists and compensation will be provided./n/nFolkfest St. Pete is an annual contemporary folk art and music festival taking place on Central Avenue in downtown St. Petersburg, FL. Celebrating diversity and with the expressed mission of making the arts accessible to all, proceeds from the festival go to Creative Clay, which has served artists with disabilities since 1995.
The festival features 10-12 acts on the main and family stages. There are also workshops and a VIP Meet & Greet event. The festival will feature at least 2 Sonicbids artists and compensation will be provided. Folkfest St. Pete hosts more than 20,000 folks and encourages unique creative collaborations amongst musicians and artists and culminates with an art auction to support Creative Clay (www.creativeclay.org).
The 2009 festival featured Donna the Buffalo; The New Familiars; Have Gun, Will Travel; Ella Jet; Ben Prestage; Rebakah Pulley & the Reluctant Prophets; and more.
