Summary

The Folk Rock Podcast was created so that Shaolin Records could develop a network of folk rock artists to feature on the "Folk Rock Podcast" radio show hosted by The Hippy Coyote of American Zen. The Hippy Coyote broadcasted the first few episodes and launched the podcast on iTunes and other podcast registries.

The first two podcasts feature the folk rock band, American Zen. Each bimonthly show features a different folk rock artist.. This is a permanent promotion tool; you will have a link to your podcast which will be kept in their archives for years to come and always available for your use and reference. In addition to your podcast you will receive a webpage on CaliforniaFolkRock.com

They are looking for bands with a sound similar to Bob Dylan, Crosby Stills & Nash, Neil Young, The Byrds, Arlo Guthrie, The Band, and The Turtles, Donovan, The Mamas & The Papas, The Lovin' Spoonful, Love, Jefferson Airplane, and David Bowie with Mick Ronson.

The Folk Rock Podcast offers optional song sales from the www.folkrockpodcast.com website where individual songs can be purchased by fans for 88 cents (Revenue is split 50/50).
