Fontana's NYC

Fontana's is a mutli-level club and music venue just south of Delancey Street on the lower east side of Manhattan, and is owned by the ladies behind Route 85a. The venue is looking to book solo artists and bands to perform everything from electronica to Icelandic rock, all 7 nights per week during December and January. Fontana’s accepts a diverse assortment of genres, as well as welcomes DJ's to spin at the multi-floored venue. Fontana's accepts submissions from all bands, from local to internationally based. Fontana's is located at the edge of Chinatown at 105 Eldridge Street between Broome and Grand. This gritty newcomer has quickly become a favorite of the downtown set without trafficking in any of the gimmicky themes or faux-exclusive atmosphere permeating much of this suddenly swank neighborhood these days. Instead, Fontana’s supplies a cavernous space that aims to offer something for everybody. Local bands entertain the crowd with probably the cheapest live shows you’ll find anywhere in the City, couples cozy up at comfy candlelit booths while gamesters form a line at the pool table and groups chatter away in the living room-style movie house.

Fontana’s tends to book 1 to 2 months in advance, although some last minute slots are likely to pop up. Backline is provided with bass and guitar cabs, one combo amp and a four piece drum kit (missing snare and cymbals).
