In order to be eligible for the battle, 50% of the band must work for the submitting company. This contest is being offered only to amateur musicians. NO STUDIO MUSICIANS, NO PRO CLUB CIRCUIT PLAYERS, NO RINGERS! Your company should have at least 50 employees and no one in the band should be under the age of 21. Each band should make sure their Sonicbids EPK is complete and includes three of the best songs they do. You can complete your EPK upon finishing your submission. If you need assistance you can contact Sonicbids Artist Relations: www.sonicbids.com/support.
A panel at the Rock Hall will review all band submissions and select bands based on based upon quality of musicianship. Six bands will be invited to play the European Regional Competition in London as well, to be held on August 23. The top two finishers in each US regional, the winner of the London regional and one wild card band will make it to the Finals at The Rock Hall in Cleveland, OH on Saturday, October 4, 2008.
