Summary
Festival Of The Sun is held at Sundowner Tourist Park in Port Macquarie on December 15 & 16, 2006. FOTSUN is designed to give Australian Independent artists a platform to perform with some of Australia's biggest talent. There are two stages including a designated acoustic stage, which will feature emerging artists between bands on the main stage.
We are looking for Australian artists to submit through Sonicbids. 23 artists in total will play the festival. Compensation for artists will be determined by the size of the artists and all accommodation will be provided.
Last yearÂ’s Festival had an attendance of roughly 1,500 people and included artists like Sarah Blasko, Gerling, Things of Stone and Wood, the Herd, The Mess Hall, Ash Grunwald and Herst & Greene.
Festival Of The Sun (Fotsun) is supported by Triple J, Drum Media, Time Off, Fasterlouder.com.au and Southern Cross Ten.
