The Opportunity

Maryland Doom Fest is the premier doom/sludge metal event throughout the state. Taking on its 8th year, Sonicbids artists are getting the chance to rock the stage.  Do you have the level of doom it takes for Doom Fest?

The Band

  • Doom, Sludge, Heavy Metal
  • Bands must be actively playing shows 
  • Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
  • All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
  • Acts must have a solid online presence

The Gig

  • 2022, Frederick, Maryland
  • PA provided, bands may need to bring some equipment 
  • Bands are able to sell merch on-site
  • Compensation determined at the time of booking
