HIP HOP: The Freestyle Experiment at the Apache Cafe

Savage Fam PRO is looking for 1 Sonicbids hip hop artist, free style rapper or emcee to perform at The Freestyle Experiment at the Apache Cafe. Selected acts are compensated $50 and may sell merch on site.

Sound and Lyrics Open-Mic Series: The Freestyle Experiment is an all-genre, open mic jam session that is also recorded and shared with the world on Soundcloud. Its unique mashup up of live music, freestyle rap, singing, on the spot beat creation and crowd participation is what makes The Freestyle Experiment one of the most inspiring and entertaining live music events in Atlanta. The event is produced by Savage Fam PRO and takes place every first Tuesday at the Apache Cafe, and is also hosted by MICXSIC and the ATL 3 house band.

Savage Fam PRO is an independent music imprint and event promotions company operating out of Atlanta, and is headed by artist and founder MICXSIC (Mike Sick). In-house productions include monthly events The Freestyle Experiment and The Bar Exam, the latter a showcase at the A3C Hip-Hop Festival.

• Must be age 18+ to perform
• If not from Atlanta, must be able to travel to Atlanta for performance
• Welcome to freestyle rappers and emcees
• Acts with great lyricism, energy, original and engaging concepts
• Performance video footage is a plus; video submissions can be music video links or videos of freestyle performances

• The selected act should come prepared to freestyle or to perform an original song with the house band
• 10-minute set

• Inclusion in promotion from Savage Fam PRO and Apache Cafe social networks and event listings
• If not from Atlanta, must be able to cover transportation costs
