Summary
FreelyFest is a laid back, eclectic live music event located in Southern Ohio. The festival is held at Camp Cattail in Chillicothe which is located just 45 minutes south of Columbus and 60 minutes east of Dayton, Oh. In its first year over 1200 came out, camped and enjoyed 12 bands perform from noon to midnight. FreelyFest is the only event of its kind in the area and is now in its 2nd year. The date of the event is Saturday, June 24th 2006.
Last year we saw performers in most genres including Rock, Pop, Singer-Songwriter, Country, and Blues. This year we would love to add Hip-Hop and Jam Band to the list. If you are in either of these genres, please apply!! 1-2 slots will be reserved for Sonicbids artists. Bands selected will be given a 30 minute slot and will be compensated for their performance.
Bands can choose to either be given 30 tickets to sell or receive a guarantee, which will be based on the status of the artist performing.
