Free Mumia Mixtape 2.0

The Free Mumia Mixtape 2.0 is the second mixtape by Checkmate Entertainment that will bring eyes and ears to the struggle of the former Black Panther, and current Death Row inmate, Mumia Abu-Jamal. This mixtape will be made up of strictly the illest Hip-Hop and Soul music; so put your best song first. We’re strictly looking for Hip-Hop and Soul music only.



2000+ CDs will be made on/before Dec 15th, 2006, and distributed through online retailers, including CDBaby.com, and in selected retail outlets in Baltimore, Boston, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and New York.



If selected, you will be given at least 50 CDs to sell. The number of CDs given depends on how many artists are selected for the compilation. There are a minimum of 3 slots reserved for Sonicbids members, so get your songs in early!! For these 3 Sonicbids members, their $125 inclusion fee will be waived, and they will be considered for the Free Mumia Concert Series, which will take place in late 2006/early 2007 in the cities mentioned above.

Please note: Any Sonicbids members selected in addition to the minimum 3 slots will have to pay the $125 inclusion fee.
