How it works:

Individual artists may submit into one of the following categories: Bass, Drums, Guitar, Vocals or Keys. In mid-July, all eligible artists and their videos will be posted on a public voting site, where their fans can vote daily to help them get one step closer to a Full Ride scholarship.

At the end of the public voting round, a panel of judges will review and evaluate the artists with the most votes and will select the finalists. Musicians Institute will host the finalists in Los Angeles to rehearse with some of LA’s top session musicians who will perform with them in a live competition on the Musicians Institute campus on September 2, 2011. All performances will be judged by a panel of Musicians Institute faculty members who will determine the winners based upon pre-determined criteria.

Please note: Only one invidiual can submit per Sonicbids account. If one or more members of one band would like to submit, each band member must sign up for a free trial Sonicbids profile. All submissions remain valid even after your free trial Sonicbids membership expires. Contact Sonicbids Support if you have any questions.
