Summary

The deadline is coming soon to submit to Funfest Productions. They're looking to book artists for four different festivals in the summer of 2011. At least twenty Sonicbids artists are guaranteed to perform at one or more of these events, where hundreds of thousands fans are expected to attend. The Festivals are as follows:

Stars and Stripes Festival

July 1 - 4

Taking place in the streets of downtown Mt. Clemens, MI, the Stars and Stripes Festival features 250 acts and drew over 400,000 attendees last year. Rock stars, eclectic food, carnival rides, a BMX stunt show and artists displays highlight the festival.



This event honors the United States military, and boasts performances by national recording artists as well as independent musicians.
Artists in a wide variety of genres are encouraged to submit for a chance to perform at Stars and Stripes.


Uncle Sam Jam

July 8 - 10

The Uncle Sam Jam is a celebration of the Fourth of July, held in Woodhaven, MI over 3 days. Taking place in the Civic Center Park, the event features national rock and country artists, including Eddie Money and Confederate Railroad and Bom Shel. The event features fireworks, carnival rides and games, a petting farm, interactive displays and more. The event is looking for rock and country artists to perform live.



St. Clair Riverfest

July 29 - 31

The St. Clair Riverfest combines the power of Offshore Racing with national/regional and local recording artists. It is the largest event is St. Clair County with over 100,000 visitors. Josh Gracin, Eddie Money and many more have performed in previous years. Artists in a wide variety of genres are encouraged to submit to this festival.



Selfridge Air Show Weekend

August 19 - 20

The Selfridge Air Show will take place at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. It is the Midwest's favorite airshow, and drew over 100,000 last year.

FunFest Productions produces outdoor festivals that include carnival rides, specialty attractions, live music, food vendors, art vendors, and more. Their festivals have received tons of local and regional media attention throughout the years. Funfest is constantly adding new festivals and events to their family, and artists' submissions will be eligible for any other 2011 festivals that have yet to be announced.
