Furey's Cafe - Lowell, MA

Furey's Cafe is a local neighborhood bar in Lowell, MA, with a new venture and is actively seeking musicians and performance artists for immediate openings for Friday and Saturday nights. There are 8 to 10 slots available each month with many slots available for Sonicbids artists. Each show consists of a single artist or small band performing 3 sets that are a minimum of 45 minutes in length. There is no backline at the venue – a sound system, including vocal mics, monitors and a sound person is available for a fee. All music genres are considered but due to the size of the venue, volume is the main concern (ie: a working blender should be able to be heard while performing). Preferred genres include blues, classic rock, acoustic, and singer/songwriters.
