From February 22nd - 23rd 2012 FUSE showcases the best new talent from across the country, with more than 80 acts performing in 20 venues over two nights, attended by music industry professionals from across the globe.



In addition to the music, FUSE offers two days of conference panel activities designed to tackle up-to-the-minute issues, as well as priceless networking opportunities. FUSE has guaranteed 80 slots for Sonicbids artists./n/nFuse Festival is the longest running music business event in Australia. From February 22nd - 23rd, 2012, FUSE showcases the best new talent from across the country, with more than 80 acts performing in 20 venues over two nights, attended by music industry professionals from across the globe. In addition to the music, FUSE offers two days of conference panel activities designed to tackle up-to-the-minute issues, as well as priceless networking opportunities.

FUSE has guaranteed 80 slots for Sonicbids artists. Submissions are open to Australian artists ONLY and selections will be made based on your EPK submission. Selected artists will have access to national music industry networking as well as the opportunity to perform alongside some of Australia’s top unearthed acts.



Registration includes a potential slot at either Fuse West or Fuse East, as well as a conference and networking ticket for all performing members of the band (reduced rates apply for solo artists) and an exclusive speaker contact list. Each year Fuse features keynote speeches from prominent music industry figures. Over the years, these industry specialists have included Glenn Wheatley (John Farnham), Hon Peter Garrett MP (Midnight Oil) and Martin Elbourne (Glastonbury Festival). The Fuse Conference includes informative panel discussion at the music industry's most pressing and timely issues.

Previous performers include: Hilltop Hoods, The Audreys, The Salvador's, The John Steel Singers, Wolf & Cub, Jackson Firebird, City Riots, The Sundance Kids and The Shiny Brights.

Venues participating in Fuse East & West will have the final say artistically in accepting your registration and nominating which bands to play where based on genre and setup requirements.

*It is a condition of application that artists agree to register with Fuse Festival within 10 days of being notified of a secured showcase slot at a cost of AU$350 for bands or AU$230 for solo artists.
