Summary

Gathering of the Vibes, the northeast's premier event for Funk, Jam Bands, Rock, Roots and Acoustic music, is back in 2009 for its 14th year. Be one of the artists to perform at this annual weekend festival that attracts more than 20,000 people.

Artists confirmed include Crosby, Stills & Nash, Bob Weir & Ratdog, moe., Levon Helm Band, State Radio, Guster, Buddy Guy, George Clinton & P-Funk, Dark Star Orchestra, Keller Williams, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals and many more.

Artists that have performed at previous Vibes include: Phil Lesh and Friends, The Rhythm Devils, The Neville Brothers, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, Soul Stew Revival, Sam Bush Band, Porter Batiste, Stoltz, Zappa Plays Zappa, Jackie Greene Band, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Deep Banana Blackout, Assembly of Dust, Donna Jean, The Tricksters, Strangefolk, Ryan Montbleau Band, King For a Day, Los Lobos, Burning Spear, Buddy Guy, James Brown, The Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule, moe., and many more.

For the 5th time in it’s history, Vibes will be returning to Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT on July 23–26, 2009 - home of Vibes 1999, 2000, 2007 and 2008. Nestled in scenic Bridgeport, Connecticut with 370 acres of lush lawns, shady glades and sports fields rolling toward Long Island Sound, Seaside Park is a venue without peer on the Eastern Seaboard.

Gathering of the Vibes will have car-side camping, flush toilets, showers, playgrounds, Kids Corner and Teen Scene, an on-site art gallery, mist tents, craft and food vending, a skate park, and over a mile of pristine beach within a short walk - an ideal space for this highly anticipated 'family reunion.'
