Gen Art & Biore Skincare Uncover/Discover - SEEKING FEMALE MUSICIANS

This is an opportunity to win $20,000 and get great exposure for your music.



Biore® Skincare and Gen Art are hosting a national competition dubbed “UNCOVER / DISCOVER” to help support and showcase the next generation of FEMALE talent in music, film, fashion and the visual arts.



The program will showcase six music semi-finalists, selected by a panel of industry experts in each category, who will gain national recognition and exposure before consumers and members of the music industry through a micro site www.bioregenart.com. The six semi-finalists will be narrowed down to three semi-finalists, through audience voting. The final winner will be selected by sponsor and grant provider Biore® Skincare.



In October 2007, Biore® Skincare and Gen Art will host a winner showcase and announcement celebration in New York City. Travel and accommodations will be arranged for the winner courtesy of Biore® Skincare. At this event, the winner will receive the Biore® Skincare Uncover/Discover $20,000 music grant, alongside the winners of the art, fashion and film grants. Each of the four winners (one per category) will have their work showcased at this event, to be attended by notables, industry heavy weights and VIP guests.



Your EPK must have three tracks for review and at least one photo. If you are a Supersonic member with more than three tracks, your first three tracks will be reviewed.


All genres accepted.



Please note: This opportunity is open to female musicians only, though you may plan any role in the band/group. Artists must be from the United States. The competition is open only to musicians who have sold less than 200,000 copies of their albums or EPs.



Selected semi-finalists will be required to sign a licensing agreement within five days of selection.
