The festival attracts thousands of musicians and music lovers to experience amazing music. Genk on Stage is looking for solo artists and bands to perform live at the festival. The 2011 festival will continue to provide exciting and free entertainment for all ages and musical tastes, plus a variety of food, shopping and childrens' activities.
Genk on Stage is looking for solo artists and bands to perform live at the festival. The festival encourages an eclectic mix of artists with varied pop and mainstream musical styles to submit their EPK's. Selected artists will be compensated for their performances as well as travel (within Belgium) & lodging expenses.
Last year's performers included Mixhell, The Subs, Vive La Fête, Shantel Y Bucovina Orkestar, Zita Swoon, Sioen, Customs, Natalia, Les Truttes, Isbells, Monotonix, Dez Mona, Murdock, Hey Today!, Vermin Twins, Mintzkov, Daan, The Levellers, and many more.
Past performers at the festival have included Action in DC, Amaryllis, Bob Geldof, Born Crain, Clearwater, Lemon, Luna Twist, Magnus, My Hot Pony, Paradise, Room Eleven, Sharko, Sound of Stereo, The Glimmers presents Disko Drunkards, The Supernatural Heroes, Venus in flames and more.
