Eagle Entertainment is Georgia Southern University's student-run programming council and they aim to book performers that create a social, fun, and relaxing atmosphere for students to meet new friends and relax with old friends. Eagle Entertainment provides Georgia Southern University students with a wide variety of popular entertainment and guest speakers throughout the year. All events are open to Georgia Southern University students, faculty, and staff.

Georgia Southern University is looking for music and non music performers in a wide variety of genres. Welcome Week and Homecoming are two major events produced by Eagle Entertainment during the fall semester and usually draw between 2,000-3,000 students. Other events include the Miss Georgia Southern University Scholarship Pageant, outdoor movies, major concerts, and the Spring Break trip, which occur during the spring semester. There are many other performance opportunities available throughout the year, and artists are compensated.
