Summary

Eagle Entertainment, Georgia Southern University's student-run programming council, aims to book performers that create a social, fun, and relaxing atmosphere for students to meet new friends and relax with old friends. Eagle Entertainment provides Georgia Southern University students with a wide variety of popular entertainment and guest speakers throughout the year. All events are open to Georgia Southern University students, faculty, and staff.

They are currently looking for music and non music performers for a number of opportunities throughout the Fall 2007 semester. Local and nearby regional comedians, adult contemporary, country, electronic/dance, hip hop, rap, pop, rock, and urban/R&B artists are encouraged to submit. No cover bands, please.

Welcome Week and Homecoming are two major events produced by Eagle Entertainment during the fall semester and usually draw between 2,000-3,000 students.

Additionally, The Russell Union Commons hosts the First Wednesday Coffeehouse Series, and is seeking singer/songwriters and acoustic acts once a month.
