Summary
Get the Word Out and Elite Records are currently accepting submissions for the Get The Word Out Showcase CD. This compilation CD will promote rising artists of hip hop and R&B and will be released in June 2008. Distribution of 2,000 pressed CDs will take place online, through 900AM WURD, and at various Get The Word Out Showcases in Philadelphia, PA. Artists will receive a portion of sales of the CDs and have their name and brief bio printed on the insert/case.
Original music only, please- no remakes. Artists must own the copyrights to submitted material. Please Note: The Get The Word Out Showcase CD requires all selected artists to pay an extra fee of $20 directly to the promoter in order to participate. There are 20 slots available on the CD. Two selected Sonicbids artists will also be selected to have this additional fee waived by Get The Word Out.
