At least 1 Sonicbids artist will be selected to perform at this year’s festival. All selected artists will receive at least 1000 Euros guaranteed compensation. A total of 6,000 attendees accounts for more than 10% of the entire population of the Faroe Islands./n/nThe 2010 G! Festival will host 30+ performers on 3 stages and over 6,000 of the most dedicated must fans in the world. At least 1 Sonicbids artist will be selected to perform at this year’s festival. All selected artists will receive at least 1000€ (approximately $1400 USD) guaranteed compensation. Additional compensation may be negotiable, but this is a great opportunity for artists who are already planning to be touring within the area, which includes Scandinavia, the UK, and Northern Europe. Genres accepted include rock, pop, folk, roots, and electronic, among others.


G! Festival is located in the Faroe Islands, midway between Icelend, Norway, and Scotland. It is situated in the picturesque seaside village of Göta. G! has redefined the whole musical landscape of the Faroe Islands with its international scale and visionary scope. Festival coordinators are passionate about music and deeply devoted to making people feel at home and happy. We put our minds and souls into creating a positive atmosphere of fellowship and true open-heartedness through G! Festival. A total of 6,000 attendees accounts for more than 10% of the entire population of the Faroe Islands.


So far these artists have been announced on this year’s bill: Týr (FO), Eivør (FO), Brandur (FO), Lucy Love (DK), Afenginn (DK), Polkabjörn & Kleine Heine (NO), Moto Boy (SE) and more.


Past notable performers include: The Dixie Hummingbirds (USA), Natasha Bedingfield (UK), Kaizers Orchestra (NO), Metronomy (UK), Hatesphere (DK), Loney, Dear (SE), Mugison (IS), Polkaholix (DE), Teitur, Lena Anderssen, Boys In A Band, and all the most exciting artists from the Faroe Islands.
