The 2011 G! Festival will host 30+ performers on 3 stages, for 6,000 of the most dedicated music fans in the world. At least 1 Sonicbids artist will be selected to perform at this year’s festival. All selected artists will receive at least 1000€ (approximately $1400 USD) guaranteed compensation. Additional compensation may be negotiable, but this is a great opportunity for artists who are already planning to be touring within the area, which includes Scandinavia, the UK, and Northern Europe. G! Festival is located in the Faroe Islands, midway between Iceland, Norway, and Scotland. It is situated in the picturesque seaside village of Göta. G! has redefined the whole musical landscape of the Faroe Islands with its international scale and visionary scope. Festival coordinators are passionate about music and deeply devoted to making people feel at home and happy, and have put their minds and souls into creating a positive atmosphere of fellowship and true open-heartedness through G! Festival. A total of 6,000 attendees accounts for more than 10% of the entire population of the Faroe Islands.
