The Gilbert Farmers Market is looking for musicians that can play from 8AM-2PM on Saturdays through the year. Bands can tips, sell CDs, t-Shirts, memorabilia, etc. Most bands do well in tips as the estimated attendance is 500-2,000 people each weekend./n/nThe Gilbert Farmers Market is looking for musicians that can play from 8AM-2PM on Saturdays through the year. Bands can tips, sell CDs, t-Shirts, memorabilia, etc. Most bands do well in tips as the estimated attendance is 500-2,000 people each weekend. Artist must provide all sound equipment/amplification. Artists should also bring iPod for interlude music while on breaks. Events are held in rain or shine. In case of rain, artist will perform under a tent. Area to perform is shaded 22' x 35' area.

They're looking for relaxing, simple music where people can shop the local produce, food vendors and craft vendors and then sit down and listen to bands play. Some favorites of customers and vendors have been Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat, Coldplay, Jack Johnson, Jazz, etc. Artists will choose one weekend as a test then book some more.
