Summary

The Glass City Opry is a premier bluegrass venue in northwestern Ohio. The Glass City Opry is looking to book bluegrass artists to perform live at the venue. A sound and lighting system and a sound engineer will be provided at the festival, but artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and additional equipment. Artists will be compensated .

National acts such as New Found Road, the Dixie Bee Liners and Honi Deaton and Dream have all appeared at the Opry. The theatre seats 500 and is beautifully restored with over 3 million dollars in renovations several years ago./n/nThe Glass City Opry is a premier bluegrass venue in northwestern Ohio. Benefits for Selected Artists:



  • Artists will be compensated a percent of the tickets sold at the door.

  • Artists can sell their merchandise and keep 100% of the profits.

  • Exposure while performing live in front of 100 people (average attendance).

Located at the Maumee Indoor Theatre, in Maumee, Ohio, the Glass City Opry was created by three partners; Sherri Chekal, Jeff Birdwell and David Russell in the summer of 2007.
