Global Groove @ Chopin

Global Groove has been listing world music events in Chicago since 2008 and has been co-sponsoring events since 2009.
These concerts will be presented at the Chopin Theatre in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago from July-September 2010. They have gradually built an audience base with which to present their own concerts.

These concerts will be presented at the Chopin Theatre in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago from July-September 2010. There are two performances spaces, a 225 cap room and a 100 cap room. Dates and rooms will depend on routings and availability. Compensation will be a gate split, though a modest guarantee is not out of the question for an act with an established draw in the market.

World music genres will be considered as will acts with a twist on some global culture other than American pop genres. Your drummer's step-mother being from Norway is not quite enough of a twist.
