Go Forth Music College Promotions: Fall 2010 Emerging Artists Compilation

Go Forth Music College Promotions is pleased to announce their Fall 2010 Emerging Artists Compilation. The compilation will be distributed in November 2010 via Dropcard (1000 codes will be created) and Bandcamp to college students in the Northeastern, Eastern, Southeastern, and Southern regions of the US. All submissions will receive a review, regardless of selection, and at least 5 slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists./n/nGo Forth Music College Promotions is pleased to announce their Fall 2010 Emerging Artists Compilation. Artists will be selected by the Go Forth Music A&R panel and Go Forth Music College Reps (current college students). All submissions will receive a review, regardless of selection, and at least 5 slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists.



Go Forth Music College Promotions is a division of Go Forth Music, a new web community that offers resources, tools, and support services for musicians and music industry entrepreneurs. Go Forth includes their college reps in the process because we want them to be excited about the music they will be promoting.



In addition to being on the compilation, all selected artists' will receive the following College Promotion package, which includes:

• Press kits/contact info will sent to Go Forth Music College Reps who will actively promote your music (via the compilation) to the campus activities representatives, campus radio stations, and campus tastemakers (DJs, promoters, bloggers, campus organizations, etc.).


• All participating artists will receive email address for people who download the compilation via Dropcard and Bandcamp to add to their email lists.


• Each selected artist will receive 20 Dropcards for their use, as well as a link to the Bandcamp download page.


• Artists will be promoted via the Go Forth Music Website.


• Artists will receive a free Premium membership to Go Forth Music, allowing access to exclusive interviews with music industry executives and artists in addition to resources and career tools like marketing plan templates, contracts, etc.

Submissions are open to a variety of genres including: Pop, Rock, Singer/Songwriter, Hip-Hop, R&B, Gospel, Contemporary Christian, Alternative, Jazz, Funk, Electronica/DJ and Comedy/Spoken Word. Please no Blues, World, or Avant-Garde.
