Summary
GoGirlsMusic.com proudly presents the 6th annual "Invasion of the GoGirls" in Austin, TX during the South by Southwest Music Conference weekend. GoGirls will be showcasing the best emerging talent from across the country in their "unofficial" showcases.
Invasion of the GoGirls will be held March 16-18, 2006 at Trophys Bar, an Austin landmark. There MUST be at least one female member in your band to participate. There will be around 50 acts performing over the three days. This year, Sarah Bettens from Ks Choice will be headlining. Past performers include Patrice Pike, Cheyenne Kimball, Rachael Sage, Leiana, The Catholic Girls, Jennifer Marks, Honey Tongue, Susan Robkin and many others.
Event sponsors include GoGirlsMusic.com, Hyperactive Music Magazine, Sonicbids, Disc Makers, IndieMusicCoach.com, GIGPAGE.com, Indiebible, Musicians Atlas, and Indie-Music.com.
Please Note: In order to submit for this showcase, you must be a GoGirls Elite member. Please make sure to submit through the Sonicbids package that reflects your GoGirls membership status.
GoGirls is also planning several daytime speakers and panels that relate to the music business. So, whether you get into a showcase or not, there will lots going on for GoGirls in Austin during SXSW!
