Gorilla Productions is looking for local acts for a Battle of the Bands on Sunday, July 31st, at The Crossroads, located in Garwood, New Jersey. They are in search of bands of any genre. The grand prize is a $500 cash prize and 20 hours of studio time. They are in search of bands of any genre. The headlining spot is reserved for the band that can sell the most tickets.

Selected artists receive:

• Grand prize: $500 cash prize and up to 20 hours of studio time.


• All bands play a 30 minute set.


• Successful bands may be given the opportunity to perform with Gorilla Music in the future.


• Venue will provide a PA and mics, but the bands must provide the rest of their equipment.


• Each band is provided discounted tickets to sell prior to the show. Later time slots are reserved for the bands that sell the most tickets.


• Ticket sales and unsold tickets must be turned in at check-in.

At a Gorilla Battle of the Bands, artists can be exposed to crowds of new fans, build relationships with local clubs, and network with other local bands. Gorilla books shows in over 80 clubs across the country and may be able to suggest future gig locations for artists. Gorilla also books many events such as local showcases or festivals.
