Showcase, every first Thursday of the month in 2011. Hosted at the Rumba Lounge in San Mateo, CA, the showcase is an ongoing competition that will ultimately crown a grand prize winner.


All submitted tracks must be wholly original material, so no mix tape beats. The group of artists will be parried down month by month, with new challengers added each round to keep things fresh, until on two MCs remain.


The showcase runner-up will receive three beats written and engineered by the one and only MISTA TALENT. One grand prize winner will receive a photo shoot and spread in WWS web magazine, their choice of three MISTA TALENT beats and studio time to record some new tracks.


Artists are required to bring their A-game and pay a $10 admission fee on the day(s) of the event.
