Granite Rock Music Fest 2006

For over 2 years, Applause for the Cause--a non profit entertainment group run by local teens--has been producing concerts and events throughout Southern NH and donating the proceeds to charity. This year, Applause for the Cause is pleased to announce the first annual Granite Rock Music Festival 2006. It will be held on Sunday, October 29, at Arms Park in Manchester, NH. We expect to draw thousands of people and showcase some of the best artists in New England, all while helping good causes such as Toys for Tots and others.

The festival is expected to attract several thousand people over the course of the day and will feature headlining acts prominent in the New England area. For this year’s festival-- amusements, concessions, music, an emerging artists center, 2 large parking lots, and 1 huge venue will all come together with great entertainers to rock the Granite State with the BEST music from New England.

To kick off the first festival ever, we're scouting for over 10 artists who will make up the more than 20 bands that will perform at the festival.

Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of regional music professionals who will determine the final participants. Those lucky artists will all receive a certificate of selection and gift basket just for being chosen! Certain selected artists may be chosen to receive compensation for their performances based on a guarantee or on draw to the event; otherwise there is no monetary compensation for performing.

If selected, not only will you get to perform at what is expected to be one of the largest music festivals in New England, and you'll gain tremendous exposure, have a lot of fun, and help a great cause!
