Summary

The Great Atlantic Blues and Beyond Festival is the largest blues, arts, and culture festival in Atlantic Canada. This festival will take place at the Alderney Landing Complex in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The event will feature three days of blues, R&B, soul and many other genres at three venues - Main Stage, Theatre Stage, and Ferry Terminal Park. The main stage and theatre will host internationally respected artists from across North America, such as The Legendary Johnny Winter, The Howling Charlie Musselwhite - With a special performance by John Hammond, 2008 Grammy Nominee Bettye LaVette, former Bluesbreaker Coco Montoya, Nappy Brown and his Orchestra, The Duke Robillard Band, Big Bill Morganfield, Dawn Tyler Blues Project, Taj Mahal’s Phantom Blues Band, John Campbell, Roy Rogers and the Delta Rhythm Kings, Samuel James, and many more!



This year, Great Atlantic Blues and Beyond Festival is now accepting submissions for performance consideration on their acoustic side stage. This is a great opportunity to play along side some of the most recognizable names in blues and beyond. Artists will be compensated for their performances, however all details will be negotiated at the time of booking. With a global focus, this year’s Festival will attract audiences from Atlantic/Central Canada, New England, Iceland, and the UK.
