Summary

Boston GreenFest 2011 is a fully inclusive festival filled with fun learning experiences to address the important changes every person needs to make in every lives and neighborhoods. It will begin at Boston City Hall Plaza with a Kick-Off Concert on Thursday, August 18, from 5-10 pm and will continue all day long. It continues on Friday August 19 to Saturday August 20, from 10 am-10 pm. It is an event that will have something for everybody, young and old.

Over 20 artists will be performing at the festival for over 400 festival goers. With 3 stages, comprised of the main stage, family stage and futuristic soul stage, the festival provides open exposure for talented artists. The festival is looking to book local, regional and touring solo artists and bands to perform live at the festival and there is 1 slot reserved for Sonicbids artists.

  • Exposure while performing live in front of 50,000 -100,000 people.


The festival is looking for all styles/genres to play during the day and support the headliners. Accepted genres include Zydeco, World/Asian/Brazilian, Zouk, A Capella, Gospel, Acoustic, Adult Contemporary, Americana, Bluegrass, Blues, Family/Children's Music, Classic Rock, Comedy, Country, Folk, Hip-Hop/Rap, Jam Band, Jazz, Latin, Pop, Punk, Reggae, Rock, Singer/Songwriter, Soul, and Urban/R&B.
