They are interested in a wide variety of styles. A good beat is a plus for the skiing portions of the project. We will need music for lifestyle elements as well that will be more slow paced folk style acoustic.

Greg is well on his way towards his insane goal of climbing up 2 million feet of rugged mountain terrain all over the world just to ski some sick lines back down. That alone is impressive, but he’s doing it all in one calendar year. 365 days, 2 million feet up, 2 million feet down. The Greg Hill 2 Mil.

This is a 3 part video project that will be explaining the amazing feat he is trying to accomplish. Video 1 will be a background on Greg Hill and will lay out what he has in front of him. Video 2 will document Greg as he reaches 1 million feet of ascent. Video 3 will conclude the series and hopefully will show Greg getting the 2 million feet he is seeking.

To log as many vertical feet in one year as Greg Hill you could:

  • Climb up and ski down Mount Everest three times a month.

  • Climb out of the Grand Canyon eight times a day, every day.

  • Walk from Los Angeles to San Francisco, if it were uphill at a 30˚ pitch, in the snow, most likely with a headwind.

  • Trek the Chunnel from London to Paris and back again, if the Chunnel were straight uphill in both directions.

  • Climb to the top of the Empire State Building four times a day, every day.

  • Climb to each of the seven summits. And then starting over. Until you’d done it 14 times. In a year.
