Summary
Groupeez Magazine, currently based out of Chicago, is a quarterly print publication focusing on independent up-and-coming musical talent, as well as those legendary artists that have influenced today's sound, but still fly under the radar of more mainstream media outlets. Groupeez celebrates the music with intelligent, visually stunning coverage emphasizing the rock and roll lifestyle, fashion pictorials, musical instrument reviews, and extensive concert photography.
Groupeez is currently being distributed for free in hot music venues and record shops in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago including Tower Records, The Double Door (Chicago), The Knitting Factory, CBGB, The Mercury Lounge (NYC), The Troubadour, The Key Club (LA) and more! We are growing stronger everyday with over 1,100 subscribers to date.
Groupeez is taking submissions for review in the magazine, primarily in the area of rock, however we are open to other genres such as jazz, hip-hop and others. There is at least one feature/review per issue reserved for Sonicbids artists, and bands and artists featured in the magazine may also be invited to live performance opportunities sponsored by Groupeez.
