Summary

No Cover Magazine is a music and action sports lifestyle publication. We focus on new and upcoming bands and athletes. The indie publication was responsible for highlighting and giving some of music's best talent their first-ever magazine cover. Artists like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (May 1997), Ziggy Marley (August 1997), Ben Harper (Sept. 1997), Crystal Method (Dec. 1997), Blink 182 (March 1998), Eve6 (April 1998), Linkin Park (Oct. 2000), Alien Ant Farm (March 2001), Kut U Up (Feb. 2004) and many more. No Cover was also selected to be the "Official" JagerMusic Tour Magazine in 2003 with Slayer headlining.



Currently, No Cover Magazine is a 4-color glossy with 72 pages focusing on new music and action sports athletes. Music has always been a vital part of the action sports community No Cover Magazine is bringing them together!



No Cover Magazine is offering Sonicbids artists the chance to appear on our Groupies Suck Volume #10 CD compilation along with major indie or major label artists. Last CD Comp we had a new track from Unwritten Law. The CD will be bagged in every No Cover Magazine and distributed on the newsstand at all Barnes and Noble locations and now also all Barnes and Noble College locations nationwide. Additionally, if you're selected for the compilation, you will be featured in print in the magazine and additional CDs distributed to venues and lifestyle locations around Austin, TX’s big week from March 14-18th.



Each selected artist will be given a write up in No Cover magazine's "Band Watch" or "Artist spotlight" profile section so our readers can read about your band and listen to your music at the same time. Your band will appear in the same issue as Bloc Party, Bayside, The Decemberists, Anberlin, Brand New, No Cover’s top 5 names to know in hip-hop, Ted Leo and The Pharmacists, The Almost (Underoaths side project), Pepper and many more! In addition, the CD Comp will also be sent out to TV/Film production companies in attempt to license music to TV and movies for your band. Not too mention all magazines are sent out on our comp mailing list to record label executives, management companies and our sponsors.



At least one Sonicbids artist will be selected and given a FREE spot on the CD, write up in the nationally distributed No Cover Magazine and distributed around Austin during festival week. All other Sonicbids entries will have an opportunity to participate for a discounted fee of only $599.00. There are 15 total spots available on the CD and limited space in the magazine. If selected, each band member will receive 1 CD Compilation and reach the music industry with their music and write up at these high impact events.



Previous bands that have participated and benefited from the national and festival exposure on No Cover Magazine's CD compilations/magazine coverage include Thursday, The Lashes, Shadows Fall, In Flames, Kottonmouth Kings, Hed(pe), The Dreaming, Strung Out, Funeral for a Friend, No Use for a Name, Living Things, Unwritten Law, Matt Santry, Ice T's -Body Count, Never Heard of It and many more.



Please note:The track you submit must be 3:30 or less and you must have high resolution band photographs (300 DPI, 4-color, CMYK) available. No 72 DPI or website images (since they are all compressed to 72 DPI) will be accepted.
